Design & Features

• At the core of the system are four custom 6.5” (165mm) woofers with 1.5” (38mm) voice coils and a B&C neodymium compression HF driver with a 1.4” (36mm) throat and 2.5” (64mm) coil, delivering clean and dynamic frequency response from 65Hz to 20kHz.
  
• The large-format waveguide ensures 100° horizontal and 25° vertical dispersion, providing even sound coverage across the audience, even in challenging acoustic environments.
  
• Powered by a Class-D amplifier, the CLA 406.2A outputs 900W RMS total power (600W LF + 300W HF), with a switch mode power supply and integrated DSP featuring 8 factory EQ presets for instant adaptation to any venue or situation.
  
• The rear control panel includes XLR input/output, preset selection, HP filter, volume control, and ground-lift switch, while Neutrik PowerCON IN and LINK connectors ensure safe and reliable power management.
  
• The cabinet is made from durable 12mm birch plywood with an anti-slip coating, ergonomic dual side handles, rubber protective inserts, and a 35mm pole socket. Multiple suspension and mounting points (M6, M10, and quick-release pins) allow for flexible flying or ground-stacked setups.
  
• The top side is angled at 10°, allowing seamless combination with other CLA 406.2A or CLA 206A units to tailor the vertical dispersion angle of the array. The CLA 406.2A can be used standalone, in vertical clusters, or paired with the CLA 118SA subwoofer for a full-range, powerful sound system.
